Used during the World Record dive to the deepest point on Earth, it proved its capacity to withstand extreme conditions and was adapted into a public collection. Certified to ISO 6425:2018 standards for saturation divers' watches and tested in real ocean conditions, it is guaranteed to be water-resistant to 6,000 metres (20,000 ft.).
Boasting a 45.5 mm composition of Grade 5 Titanium with a sand-blasted finish, the OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean features a black ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale. Shelter beneath the sapphire crystal dome and you'll find a black ceramised Grade 5 titanium dial with a superluminova-coated white-to-cyan seconds hand, cyan Arabic numerals and 18ct white gold hour/minute hands and markers.
The Seamaster Planet Ocean is distinguished by its titanium Manta lugs, which fasten a striped black and cyan NATO strap to the case. On the caseback, a Grade 5 titanium medallion is laser-engraved with a Sonar emblem featuring the OMEGA Seahorse at its centre. Under the hood, the watch runs on OMEGA's Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912.
