Acrisure® Jewellery & Watch Insurance – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the insurance services offered by Acrisure (the “Insurer”) through the QR code link provided in your order confirmation email from Robert Gatward (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By scanning the QR code and purchasing a policy, you (“the Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms in addition to Acrisure’s full policy documentation.

Eligibility

  • Insurance is available only to customers who have purchased jewellery or watches from Robert Gatward.
  • Cover is available for individual items up to a maximum insured value of £15,000.
  • Customers must be aged 18 or over and permanently resident in the UK at the time of policy purchase.

Scope of Cover

  • Coverage applies to the jewellery or watch item(s) purchased and insured via the QR code link.
  • Full details of cover, including loss, theft, accidental damage, worldwide protection, and exclusions, are set out in the policy schedule provided by Acrisure at the time of purchase.
  • The insurance policy is provided solely by Acrisure. Robert Gatward does not underwrite or administer the policy.

How to Purchase Cover

  • After completing your order, scan the QR code included in your order confirmation email.
  • The QR code will direct you to Acrisure’s secure insurance portal, where you can obtain a quote, review full policy details, and complete your purchase.
  • Insurance cover commences only once you have completed the application process and received confirmation from Acrisure.

Premiums & Payments

  • Premiums are set and collected directly by Acrisure.
  • Robert Gatward does not handle or process insurance payments.

Claims

  • All claims must be submitted directly to Acrisure in accordance with the instructions provided in your insurance documentation.
  • Robert Gatward is not responsible for handling or processing claims.

Data Protection

  • By scanning the QR code, you will be redirected to Acrisure’s platform. Any personal information you provide will be collected and processed by Acrisure in accordance with its Privacy Policy and GDPR obligations.
  • Robert Gatward does not access or store any of the data you provide during the insurance application process.

Limitations & Exclusions

  • Cover is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions specified by Acrisure in the policy schedule.
  • Items valued above £15,000 are not eligible for cover through this QR code offering.
  • Certain types of loss or damage (e.g., wear and tear, gradual deterioration, manufacturer defects) may not be covered.

Liability

  • Insurance is provided exclusively by Acrisure. Robert Gatward accepts no liability for policy terms, claims handling, or coverage decisions.
  • By purchasing a policy, you acknowledge that Acrisure is solely responsible for the administration and delivery of your insurance.
