This highly-limited design, only 2,000 pieces of which are available globally, was crafted to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9S Calibre.
The remarkable dial of this Grand Seiko watch is inspired by the beautiful cloud formation of Mount Iwate near the Shizukuishi Watch Studio, which can only be seen at certain times under specific weather conditions. This scene is known to locals as the ‘Sea of Clouds’ or ‘Unkai’.
Equipped with a mechanical in-house calibre 9S86 movement and a 55 hour power reserve, this Hi-Beat watch is designed for accuracy to within five to three seconds per day. The rotating 24-hour bezel allows simultaneous display of three time zones, complemented by a GMT hand.
The 44mm case boasts a rotating bezel, protected by a sapphire crystal that has double-curve anti-reflection coating for optimal visibility. An impressive 200m of water resistance is provided by the sky-blue oscillating weight decorated with titanium treated via an anodic oxidation process. This process creates an oxide layer for the desired color on the back of the SBGJ275G Limited Edition, making it the first 9S mechanism with a sapphire glass case back.

Free UK Delivery On All Orders
We are proud to offer free UK delivery on all orders placed on our website. Robert Gatward Jewellers currently only operates and supplies to the United Kingdom.
Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday – Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. If there is a specific day that you would like to receive your order, please let us know as soon as you have placed your order and we will try our best to accomodate.
Orders that total £100 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders that total less than £100 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1-2 working days). Although we cannot guarantee next day delivery with this service we have found that the majority of these orders arrive the next working day, in some cases including Saturday.
