Part of the Grand Seiko Heritage Collection, this timeless timepiece features a reinterpretation of historical styles with modern movements, crafting, and techniques. Released in 1967, the iconic 44GS design set the standard for the Grand Seiko watch style--sharply balanced legibility and light with a dial layout radiating clarity and serenity. From the front and side, the combination of sharp angles, exquisite Zaratsu polished surfaces, and smooth curves create a stunning visual effect of light & shadow.
This timepiece is constructed from Grand Seiko’s unique ‘Ever-Brilliant Steel’, renowned for its superior corrosion-resistant properties and conspicuous white sheen.
This Hi-Beat watch is driven by the internal Calibre 9S86, with a 55-hour power reserve, +5 to -3 second per day accuracy, and multiple time zone GMT capability. Grand Seiko is a "manufacture," incorporating advanced in-house technical developments along with its extensive craftmanship to all mechanical movements.

We are proud to offer free UK delivery on all orders placed on our website. Robert Gatward Jewellers currently only operates and supplies to the United Kingdom.
Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday – Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. If there is a specific day that you would like to receive your order, please let us know as soon as you have placed your order and we will try our best to accomodate.
Orders that total £100 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders that total less than £100 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1-2 working days). Although we cannot guarantee next day delivery with this service we have found that the majority of these orders arrive the next working day, in some cases including Saturday.
