In the 1960s, scuba diving rose to prominence as a sport, and Breitling responded by introducing the Slow Motion watch. It was designed for maximum legibility with a clear-cut look featuring clean lines, luminescent indexes, squared-off hands, and a high-contrast dial ring. Perfect for all water-based activities, Breitling Superocean 42mm automatic watch offers premium performance and style.

The practicality of the Superocean is undeniable, but its true appeal lies in its classic design. Referencing the classic Slow Motion, this model features contemporary elements such as a ceramic-inlayed bezel and vibrant dials. Additionally, the broad hands and indexes coated in Super-LumiNova® ensure optimal underwater readability. The watch is also certified for a water-resistance of up to 300 m (1000 ft) and can further withstand shocks, sand, and saltwater.

We are proud to offer free UK delivery on orders of £101 and over placed on our website. Robert Gatward Jewellers currently only operates and supplies within the United Kingdom.

Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday–Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. If there is a specific day you would like to receive your order, please let us know as soon as you have placed it and we will do our best to accommodate.

Orders totalling £101 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders totalling less than £101 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1–2 working days). Although next‑day delivery cannot be guaranteed with this service, the majority of these orders arrive the following working day, including Saturdays in many cases.
