Description
Touting the watchmaking acumen of three generations of Breitling inventors - Léon, Gaston & Willy - the Premier Duograph exudes remarkable sophistication with its split second complication. As master watchmaker Willy Breitling penned, the Premier is a "remarkable emblem of impeccable style." This new iteration brings its classic charm back to the forefront with iconic complications, including the Chronograph, Duograph, and Datora.
Featuring chonograph pushers forming a rectangular shape, a bi-compax chronograph look and Arabic numeral markers, the Breitling Premier Chronographs feature intricate details like the grooves of the case-sides, a transparent sapphire caseback, and inspired vintage hands. The Duograph is obtainable in two compositions: stainless steel and a blue dial or 18ct red gold and a black dial, joined with a leather strap in either gold brown or black.
The Duograph term, hailing from the 1940s, refers to Breitling's chronograph rattrapante. It is a watch complication of the highest order, paralleling the tourbillon and minute repeater in terms of complexity. Its function is to measure two elapsed times via its two hands on the central chronograph. Breitling's Duograph is enabled by the manual-wound and COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Calibre B15, which consists of two patented innovations to better the mechanism and accuracy.
