Description

The iconic Navitimer was born in '54, when Willy Breitling created a wrist-worn chronograph with a slide rule. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc. (AOPA) adopted it, making it the official timepiece of hundreds of US aviators. Astronaut Scott Carpenter even took it to space. But its style also appealed to others, notably stars like Miles Davis and Serge Gainsbourg.

The new Navitimer has classic features, modern refinements, a flattened slide rule and domed crystal for a sleeker profile, polished/brushed metal elements, new dial colours of blue, green and copper, and the return of the AOPA wings to 12 o'clock. For 70 years, this beloved icon has been worn by celebrities, astronauts and aviators alike.

We are proud to offer free UK delivery on orders of £101 and over placed on our website. Robert Gatward Jewellers currently only operates and supplies within the United Kingdom.

Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday–Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. If there is a specific day you would like to receive your order, please let us know as soon as you have placed it and we will do our best to accommodate.

Orders totalling £101 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders totalling less than £101 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1–2 working days). Although next‑day delivery cannot be guaranteed with this service, the majority of these orders arrive the following working day, including Saturdays in many cases.
