Breitling's history is deeply entwined in the history of aviation, from the first brave flights to the development of commercial air travel. The Huit Aviation department solidified Breitling's name in the 1930s with pioneering cockpit clocks, then introduced the Ref. 765 AVI pilot's watch in the 1950s. Drawing from that technical expertise, the Classic AVI P-51 Mustang pays homage to a renowned early aircraft. Developed by North American Aviation in just 120 days, the P-51's innovative low-drag wings and engine-cooling system provided superior speed and range. With the addition of a Merlin engine, it became the most versatile fighter of its era.
The 42mm Classic AVI P-51 Mustang is a professional pilot's watch with large, clear Arabic numerals on the dial and bezel. The knurled bezel ensures a good grip even when wearing gloves. Top-stitched calfskin straps recall traditional flight gear, and the stainless-steel bracelet offers an elegant alternative. Its legibility, durability, and tasteful look will be appreciated by pilots as well as travelers. The reliable COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 23 movement provides an approximate 48-hour power reserve.

Free UK Delivery On All Orders
We are proud to offer free UK delivery on all orders placed on our website. Robert Gatward Jewellers currently only operates and supplies to the United Kingdom.
Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday – Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. If there is a specific day that you would like to receive your order, please let us know as soon as you have placed your order and we will try our best to accomodate.
Orders that total £100 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders that total less than £100 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1-2 working days). Although we cannot guarantee next day delivery with this service we have found that the majority of these orders arrive the next working day, in some cases including Saturday.
