From formative endeavors in aviation to the inception of air travel, Breitling has been an integral part of its history. In the 1930s, the brand's Huit Aviation division achieved fame for creating precise cockpit clocks. In the 1950s, it took flight once more by inventing the Ref. 765 AVI - a groundbreaking pilot's watch that is the foundation of the present-day Super AVI collection, which celebrates the robust nature of the early aircrafts.
The Super AVI Mosquito commemorates a renowned aircraft. In the 1940s & 1950s, the ingenious engineers behind the de Havilland Mosquito astounded their contemporaries by relying on a plentiful material - wood - to construct one of the quickest planes of the era. Its remarkable agility enabled it to carry out missions varying from light bombing and transport to photography.
This Super AVI Mosquito is inspired by the nocturnal prowess of the Night Fighter 2 aircraft. It is a true pilots watch, boasting high-visibility Arabic numerals on a black ceramic case, titanium pushers, crown, caseback, and buckle. For operational ease, the knurled bezel provides secure grip, even with gloves. The military-leather strap gives a vintage feel. Meanwhile, the 24-hour marking on the inner bezel and the white-tipped GMT hand provide the power of two-time zone tracking. The COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber B04 movement drives the timepiece, offering a power reserve of up to 70-hours.

Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday – Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. Orders that total £100 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders that total less than £100 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1-2 working days). Although we cannot guarantee next day delivery with this service we have found that the majority of these orders arrive the next working day, in some cases including Saturday.
