On March 21, 1999, Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones made history by becoming the first to complete a nonstop circumnavigation of the globe in a balloon. Their Breitling Orbiter 3 journey spanned 45,633 km and lasted 19 days, 21 hours, and 47 minutes, ending in the Egyptian desert. In honor of the 25th anniversary of this remarkable achievement, Breitling has introduced the Aerospace B70 Orbiter timepiece. Featuring an eye-catching orange dial that pays homage to the capsule's color and adorned with the mission's logo, this watch is available with a titanium bracelet or a black rubber strap. The titanium case was specifically chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and houses the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber B70.
As a product expert, it is important to note the enhanced accuracy of this SuperQuartz™ movement which is ten times more precise than standard quartz movements. In addition, this watch boasts a wide range of features, including a 1/100th of a second chronograph with split-time and flyback functions, a countdown timer, a second timezone, two alarms, a lap function, and a perpetual calendar. Furthermore, each special edition also contains a unique piece of history: a segment of the original balloon, which can be seen through the open caseback.

We are proud to offer free UK delivery on all orders placed on our website. Robert Gatward Jewellers currently only operates and supplies to the United Kingdom.
Orders placed before 12pm Tuesday – Friday will be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday through to Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday. If there is a specific day that you would like to receive your order, please let us know as soon as you have placed your order and we will try our best to accomodate.
Orders that total £100 or more will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders that total less than £100 will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Delivery (1-2 working days). Although we cannot guarantee next day delivery with this service we have found that the majority of these orders arrive the next working day, in some cases including Saturday.
