Developed in 1952 for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Navitimer combined a circular slide rule with a chronograph, allowing aviators to perform calculations with the twist of a bezel and track elapsed time at the press of a pusher. As the first core collection Navitimer powered by the manual-wind calibre B09, this iteration takes direct inspiration from the 1960s reference worn by racecar drivers Jim Clark and Graham Hill, both former aircraft pilots who understood the usefulness of the Navitimer's slide rule and chronograph and brought its utility to the track. The 41mm case houses either a black or blue dial with white contrasting subdials and the signature slide rule. With the Twin Jet logo front and centre, the dial revisits the emblem first seen on the 1965 Navitimer.
